$1,500 per kW capacity
 
Maximum Amount:
Residential: $3,000
Non-residential: $5,000
 
Equipment Requirements:
Minimum system capacity: 1 kW (residential), 1.5 kW (non-residential);
General requirement that systems be listed by the California Energy Commission (CEC) or New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) as eligible small wind systems
 
Installation Requirements:
Must be installed by a Maryland licensed contractor;
Systems must be net-metered
 
Funding Source:
Oil overcharge funds
 
Program Budget:
$15,000 initially, potential for expansion
