Southwest Windpower, Flagstaff, Ariz., is now offering Air Breeze, the latest product in the company's AIR line of small wind systems.
Air Breeze has a rotor dimension of 46 inches, shipping dimensions of 27 inches by 12.5 inches by 9 inches, a start-up wind speed of 6 mph, and a rated power of 200 W at 228 mph.
According to the company, the product’s airfoil design includes a boundary layer disruptor or "trips" for contributing to quieter operation, plus an improved electronic stall control to reduce shutdowns in high winds.
The product is being marketed for off-grid locations including remote homes and cabins, rural communication towers and monitoring stations, boats and RVs. |
