We’re pleased to announce that Skystream is first wind turbine to conform to UL 6142 Standard for Small Wind Turbines, and it can now carry the well-recognized UL mark.
What does that mean for you?
For one, you can rest assured that the Skystream is a safe product to own. If you’re a resident of the United States, it will be easier to get planning approval for your own wind turbine if you live in a state that requires certification by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory such as UL. In the past it would have been more difficult to get planning approval in many states, and the extra hurdles had been a deterrent.
